Journey to Now

I’m from a little town called Mystic and I grew up hearing tales about my great-grandmother, a woman who read tea leaves for the whole neighborhood and for church fund-raisers. I was lucky enough to "inherit" my great-grandmother's tarot deck and, I like to think, her guidance and support from the other side.

My alternate life is in academia as a professor of Sociology and of Women, Gender, and Sexualities Studies, but I have never abandoned my study of tarot, astrology, and all things arcane and mystical. I approach readings from a multi-disciplinary perspective, blending the knowledge and understanding from my academic degrees with my exploration of  the metaphysical and mysterious.
